I know what you mean. The cold pipe sits so close to the turbine housing...

we couldn't think of another way to route it. I am going to ceramic coat all exhaust/turbo component, heat shield and reflective tape it. Hopefully it'll work out.

kinda finish the fuel system yesterday. We still have to flare the lines.

I like the hardlines look better than the SS braided hose. It looks more neat and clean.

Custom 304 SS surge tank.
We still have to drill out the tank and weld the bungs on.




Got the lines flared and such.




Pump brackets are welded on the on aluminum plate.

Finally moved outta the shop. Pipings are all done! All work are done by Chris Scremin @ fortress fabrication.

some shot. I'll have a full write up when I feel like it..lol


exhaust are half done. Still have to finish the section from diff to the bumper.

Long time no update but that doesn't mean I stop working on the car!

i've been ordering/collecting parts for the past 2 months. Any how, here it is!

Final check on the downpipe and manifold before taking it to ceramic coating.


Everything is ready for ceramic coating.

Bought abunch of AN fittings for turbo and coolant lines.


And one day I was preping the enigne bay, I discovered some rust near my strut tower. i was mad and I cut it out. Then I took it to my buddy for some reinforcement. You can see the hole i cut out.



Some plate and rollcage tubing. 2hrs later:


Primered


KH2 base coat


Clear coat..i know it looks shitty. First time painting so give me a break. I will wet sand and polish it out.


Temp BBK for now before my Project Mu comes in.
brembo 6pot 355mm 2pcs rotor.
I also use the gator bedliner for my wheel well. Very nice stuff. easy to apply with brush. Super durable finish. Way better than the rubber under coat i used before.


All brackets painted as well.


Nice and fresh for the VQ




Rear are done as well..bedlinered wheel well
Brembo 4pot BBK 345mm 2pcs rotors


Fail body work atempt


Car is towed to body shop today for rear fender work.
and appearently with the pull fender..the 18x10 +20 becomes fail fitment.

someone correct me if i am wrong, but i believe it is to equalize pressure between the two pipes so both sides of the engine have equal back pressure
