Is the reinforcement still there or did you take it out completely when you did the front mount?
They might give you some shit over that but I can't see how the motor would affect the body damage.

Get a lawyer. been in 3 accidents all not my fault. lawyer dealt w/ insurance. no need to say a word on your part. except getting parts to fix up your car again and it'll all be reimbursed. happened w/ my 510 some jack hole smacked my rear qt panel, they were gonna total it so i said here's my lawyer total that.

How much were the lawyer fees? Sounds like you wouldn't get much money back, after you pay the lawyer.
