I wanna know how he got a 18x10.5 +20 under there do well.
My 18x9.5 +20 stick out that far maybe a little farther. Pretty sure those are 9.5 rears though. A 275 is a little stretch on a 10.5. An I'm pretty positive those Works never came in 10.5.

Thanks....they are 50mm rears... I got lucky with my wheel measurments...if the were even 5mm offset off either direction they wouldn't fit.....
I looked online... I can't find anyone else with 335's on an s13.... |

Any idea what kind of camber you have? Looks pretty close to 0 from the pics.

It's hard to find tires for any car wider than 335. So I'd say JFoxx Wins!

Figured i'd post this here.
Looking into getting some new tires. Just looking for some opinions/options. I've always been a big drag radial fan for the sheer traction advantage, Although the "fun" factor of being able to throw the car around curves and just have more then straight line fun is out of the question. Looking into the Falken Azenis RT-615K in a 275/40/17. BFGoodrich G-Force T/a KDW2 in a 275/40/17. (always liked the look and feel of these) Nitto NT-05 in a 275/40/17 Looking to stay in the 255-265-275 range for the rears. Looking to put down somewhere in the range of 450-480WHP and 420-460RWTQ. Or am i just going to need to go to a straight drag radial again. Also, planning on 1 lapping even this year at Road America, so i'm going to need a pair atleast of said street tires, even if i get another DR.

That being said there's very little price difference between 255s and 275s, so you may as well go to the 275s, because even with a (non-rediculous) roll and pull, 275s fit stock sheet metal on an s14. My car hasn't driven under it's own power (I'm expecting right around 500whp) so I can't tell you how traction limited you'll be yet, but I went with the 275/40/17s Falken 615s Maybe some of the other v8 guys can chime in on how well they are hooking up with 275s

I asked on Supraforums, and alot of people are saying go with the Star Specs or the Super Stars, the 3rd choice is a Falken. But alot say to i'm just ice skating up hill trying to run a full street tire on a 2JZ swapped 240sx.
I'm going to run a 17x8+35 front (235/40/17) And a 17x9+35 Rear (255-275/40/17) Should fit good on a s13 with minor work.

If you're really serious about street traction, you may have to chunk down the cash for Toyo RA1s, and then drive like a hoon to warm them up before asking anything serious of them on the street. I consider them an Rcomp (UTQG 100), and they come in pretty much any size you'd want, but you're not getting out for less than $200/tire

Once you start getting on the wider side of 275's the prices increase exponentially. I was looking at some 285's for my 18's and they were on the high side of 200, to the low side of 300 per tire, for decent tires. I'd love to fit 295's on the factory metal, with just a roll, but I don't see that happening. I'm planning on running an 18x10 +31ish offset so I can take full advantage of max rubber.

Found these on another forum for anyone interested...:
![]() ![]() ![]() They are 255/40/17 R888 on 17x9+15 wheels. Stock metal so you can see how much it sticks out. Btw, I ran 255/40/17 NT01s and they run wiiide.. these are even WIDER than the NT01s, these are more like a 275 width! |
