Inner tie-rod install / Lock Plates... Do you use them???
Im installing inner tie rods on my Y33. Hammered the shit out of the original lock plates to get acces to the tie rod and remove it. Now I figured nissan or infiniti would have this stocked but seems no one i have called have these rare locking plates stocked. I got the Moogs from rockauto and I heard they are supposed to come with them but I dint get them..
My question now is would it be safe to run without the locking plates or should I return them to rockauto. They said they would offer an exchange and make sure the locking plates are in the box.. That will be a week more downtime. |
