There was a preiod where the datsun 510 had every engine put in it, from rotary, vg30, L20b, KA, SR and everything else under the sun.
But today you can still find them on craigslist with original L16 engines any day of the week.
And the amount of 240's shipped over was so much greater then that car.
Also, people are starting to buy 350Z's instead of 240's at this point anyways, give it 2 more years.

^ too true. since i sold mine and got the jeep, i started noticing A LOT more bone stock S13's driven by older people who might even be the original owners. granted i still run into the ragged beat up fanboy 240 here and there.

the "drift craze" is a lot more destructive than the "lets swap every motor under the sun into this little car" thing. but yeah, i guess there are a shit ton more s-chassis around than 510's.

Right, additionally I see plenty of cars (mainly for sale) that are "pretty" on this forum that lack anything other than a NA KA.They have potential though.
