Certainly once you get beyond 400rwhp my belief is that it will add hp and responsiveness. I don't have a baseline to measure only the TB addition against, but I looked at the stock TB and figured that logically it had to be restricting flow (in comparison to the other parts in the intake track). Even though I am not running beyond 400rwhp, I thought it would be a good idea to do.

I agree on this as well.. Particularly with the S14/S15 SR20DET TB. Had to swap mine to the DE TB. Another option for those not wanting to spend the extra $$ is to port the TB yourself or send it to Maxbore.com
