Dual gauge pod on s14. Help!
I searched the forum looking for a dual gauge pod for the a-pillar on a s14. I wanted to put 60mm gauges in the pod and people said autometer makes a 52mm that can be made to fit 60mm gauges.
Phase2 says Quote:
Well, I have the gauge pod and gauge in front of me but it doesn't look like it will without breaking the pod! Has anyone done this or know of a 60mm dual gauge pod that fits a s14? edit: Heres a picture, i couldnt really get a good angle with the lighting. In person the gauge looks slightly bigger than the pod itself. Seems like it would break in order to fit the gauge. |

Yeah... just "bore" it out using a dremel... but seriously you won't get 8mm more out of a 52mm pod... I tried it hahaha

Looking at the pix...it looks like the pod casing itself is smaller in diameter than the gauge itself. Dont look like itll be enough to just dremel it. Well I guess you dont have much to loose in trying rite? Just becareful when u dremmel it since itll cause heat and that shiet might melt.
