Get a hammer - a rubber mallet is better and hit it against the side of the starter several times 3-5 times then try to start the car again. If the battery is in good shape then the starter gear is probably jammed against the flywheel happens every once in a while with older starters that aren't in perfect shape. The knocking against the body of the starter with the rubber mallet should dislodge the gear and you should be able to start it right up.

Otherwise it's these other two possibilities:
-The starter itself is starting to die
-The battery is dead or doesn't have enough cranking amps
