Mine has done the exact same thing for 6 months. It causes no damage - just an annoying noice. You can try rotating your driveshaft 180 degrees by unbolting it from the diff. It didn't help me though. I'm just gunna live with it until I can get a 1-piece aluminum. You can also learn to "drive around it" so it doesn't make the annoying noise.
