If you mean it won't bolt up to the compressor, then yes. You have to have the SR compressor ends welded to the KA lines. If you mean the lines won't bolt in at the firewall, then that must mean you have to use '95 lines on a '95 chassis. For my A/C I just used the CodyAce brackets and used the KA compressor. Plug and play

I'm running a completely KA A/C Setup. On my SR it works fine and very cold.
But hey if you end up using a KA A/C setup. 1. You need a spacers on bothe bottom bolt between the ac compressor and the bracket you can use washer tho. 2. You need other washer also that goes behind the ac tensioner pulley. If you didn't really get what I'm say I'll show you what I did in pic. Just ask good luck |

The regular r134 And if you newly installing the ac compressor you need to add 8.5 oz of oil.

Heads up my friend bought an s15 motor for his s14 and the lines from the s15 sr plugged right in with no modifications. I had a/c in my s14 with an s14 sr and I had to have custom lines made. When sr20store did my motor swap all they did was unbolt the ka compressor from the ka, pulled out the ka, slapped a red top sr bracket to my s13 blacktop dropped the sr in and my ka compressor bolted right up. They didnt even have to discharge the a/c so i am still runnung r12 which i like much better because it's way less prone to leaks

Bandwagon.

now you can use R-143 on R12 cars, you just need to change the tips.
AC so cool making everything compatible. |

Just remembered I had a friend with an a14 and s14 sr swap running ac lol he got the oem sr lines and took them to a shop to make them fit To the rest of the ac line from the s14. And it worked for him.
Already got the lines from some dude in here. So I'll just wait for them and take them to a shop . |

Well I know that, which is why I generally drive with the a/c off unless it's a hot day. I just wanted to confirm that the amount of power I lose is normal, which I figured it was since both of my SR's felt the same with the a/c on

Well I turn the ac off is because I don't want to burn out the compressor clutch. That compressor is not made for high boost

It comes off the chassis harness, not the motor harness. Just plug it in.
