He got one beat to seat, but couldn't get the rest to. He has access to a cheetah - the smaller one - and a tire machine etc. He was trying to seat the bead with just the cheetah. Am I right in telling him that he should have a compressor hooked up to the valve stem as well? All of the videos I could find had someone putting air into the tire via the valve stem and compressor and then blasting it with a cheetah.

The only reason putting the air into the tire is needed is because the sudden blast of air dissipates and doesn't keep the tire inflated. Make sure they lube up the rim with soapy water or something of that nature or that the tire is sealed. If I could used duct tape and a can of brake cleaner and a lighter to stretch my 205 on a 10.5 then you should be able to get this.
