You didn't only bend the bottom buddy, you also bent the front vertical area right above that bottom skin. Bent is bent on something vital like that, its an issue every lowered car has to deal with yes, but its not something you should just write off like your doing.

Also you have a SR so we expect you to know something about it, and given you have had a 240 for 3 years we also expect you to pick something about them up along the way. Though its pretty apparent you're just a poser.

OP thinks this shit will buff right now. Purely cosmetic damage. Two pills of Advil and it'll be just fine.

Serious man, I've driven cars on the frame rails and never received damage like this. I've mountaineered cars across the Mt. Everest of pot holes and track debris, hitting some hard stuff along the way, and yet, never have I hit my cross member with such force to cause that amount of damage. It makes me believe the entire member was hit hard enough to bend and tweak all sorts of goodies as well. Replace cross member, install whatever mounts you want, and if you still have the same problem, then come back posting like a boss.

Oh sorry, I meant that in retarded speech, BAWS.

Hey "BAWS" it is structural damage and not just peeling the bottom off. You can see that it has your steering rack out of perpendicular from the frame rails. Your logic dumbfounds me...

You should probably stop posting at this point, you're just digging yourself into a hole.

Things to take away from this thread:

- Drifting-pedobear is an individual who thinks destroying the front cross-member on the pavement is a legitimate accomplishment.
- Drift Freaq makes awesome engine mounts and stands by his product 100%.

What's next? Are you going to write a formal complaint to Nissan for not constructing a cross member strong enough to uphold your on-track drifting failures?

Get lost kid.

Wow, really? Your oil pan is a speed bump away from ripping the fuck off, enjoy the "Lyfestyle" when it leaves you stranded on the side of a road with a blown engine.

No a fucking skid plate wont protect the pan from being pushed up on the sump...

Maybe instead of trolling all these fine Zilvians, you're time would be better served wrenching on your car and trying to find an answer.

Wait... people here have given you one... replace the x-member

Wow what browser do you have Baws, is it Internet ExBawser? I need me one of those.

BTW your intro is blatantly an attack on Drift Freaq even though you swear up and down it is not. If his mounts are not part of the problem then why even mention them. Sell your 240, go get a Honda that runs and worry about when the service intervals are.

i use firebaws.

i dont sware it isnt, but its not.
the mounts are unimpressive, take it for whatever you want, its what i think. im not the only one to have them break. and after seeing how they are made, it only reinforces how poorly they are designed.

not attacking driftfreaq or whatever, just saying his product is weak.

wow.

I have not seen a idiot like this since my days of Trolling Eddie/Zgirl and those other inbreds years ago. lol

Mounts are fine.

You hit the transmission pretty hard by the looks of it.
So thats what ripped your tranny mount off, and pulled it back to one side i would guess.
Now any tweak to the front, even 1/8", makes a huge difference considering the distance from what has become the fulcrum/pivot point(which would be center engine between the mounts.)
And it looks like you tweaked it pretty hard.

Thankgod you had those yellow mounts, because with an engine sitting sideways in a car, no transmission mounts, a lowered car vibrating all the way home,

............ well, lets say those mounts probably saved your engine from falling on the ground and your car from polevaulting over it.

My question is drift king, how the fuck did you not feel these issues and vibration at the track?? i can feel the smallest issue in my car. thats a big part of driving a car at the track.

which mounts are fine? becuase i replaced them, so in know they are fine, it was weather or not i derped and didnt something wrong when doing it.

what makes you think i hit the tranny? i suppse its possible, but i dont remember hitting the tranny.

yea, i think that the issue is the front, like you said about the pivot and shit.

i had a tranny mount- the bolts were just gone.
2 blocks of wood would have stopped the motor from falling out... or if i had kept stock mounts

i felt some issues, but i dont really care, its just a 240. plus it was towards the end of the day that things started to feel off. and it wasnt till the ride home that things really went wrong.

i can feel small issue when im "at the track" but i just dont care, unless they are big issues, then i care.
its drifting.

Saying you don't care then you care is an oxymoron.
So yeah that quote, is still relevant to this.

what makes you think i hit the tranny? i suppse its possible, but i dont remember hitting the tranny.

yea, i think that the issue is the front, like you said about the pivot and shit.

i had a tranny mount- the bolts were just gone.

Have you seen the bottom of your tranny?
That metal is very strong, so to grind in grooves like that, you really hit it.

Your tranny mount bolts where missing?? not sheared?

You do understand, that no engine mount can survive a day of dirt drop drifting with only the carrier bearings stabalizing the tranny via the drive shaft.

Not to mention any impact you had on the front of the car.

I think that those yellow bushings did much better then stock under those conditions.
And I also think its a waste that you dont take better care of your car, because you wouldnt have ruined those engine mounts.
Its completely your fault the mounts failed.
It would be like me putting one lug nut on and then blaming nissan when my wheel falls off.

Its sucks you wasted those great mounts that i only wish i had for the last few years.

So you drive a missile car? You shouldn't be surprised when shit breaks then, kinda comes with the territory. Not even Kazama mounts would have held up for long to that kinda damage.
