Thanks guys.
I will see when I can make one for the KA. I think a KA would pull some nice numbers. and a S/C would go great with its torquey ways. I might start on it asap, I have anouther 230 S/C . If I dont have time, and you have to have one asap, just attempt it, 95% of you guys have the knowledge and ability to make one. It may take a couple of weeks, but its not even close to impossible. The only thing you may need that most of us dont have is a plasma cutter for the bracket, but Im sure an exhaust shop will cut that for you. Just look at my auction pictures and see how its mounted to give you an Idea how to make yours. When you pick a S/C try to get either a mr2 one or get the 230 kompressor supercharger, because they share the same belt thread pattern as the crankpully, so you dont have to chane or alter the s/c's pully, and you can use the stock A/C belt. Both S/C are clutch type, that means the s/c's runs freely with out boost, but when you send any 12v source to it, it make the two peices of the s/c pully which are electro magnets stick together. This means you can have a simple switch to turn your supercharger on and off. So If you need gas milage for a long trip. I will see how much time I have, but I now I will be free in mid to end of July, but I may just work on it a couple of hours per week. Ka24dze.... sweeet.... If your going to attempt the s/c for your ka feel free to ask me any questions. -Snail Last edited by TheSnail; 06-12-2004 at 02:57 PM.. |
