Bypassing amplifiers on a vert? Rear speakers don't sound.

Just ordered 350 watt speaker for my rear and i plugged it in to the rear red(+) and green(-). it sounded for a minute and as soon as i tried screwing it in, it just stopped working. I have been searching about bypassing amps, but i dont get the write ups. how do i bypass it on my vert and where is it located.

just run a direct speaker wire from the audio source( amp or stereo).

So no need for factory amplifier right? And where is the located because I guess its usless since ill connect run wire from stereo to speaker.
