what are your shoulders ?

and if your shoulders aren't fitting... then are your 5'11 all torso ?

Also the seat padding is different from seat to seat, did you even bother putting your non-butter-sweating-butt in one before you bought it ? I used to have that same seat and my shoulders weren't the problem. But then again I took out the padding so I could sit in it. The pics I see from the knock off sparco speeds have a lot of padding in the wrong places, are you sure you didn't buy one of those ?

Also you might want to look into a sparco fighter instead.

That's the seat i use to have in my fc like 4 years ago! With wedge brackets! The sparco speed i was about 245 then and i squeezed in there nice and snug. After a while the seat got comfy after it adjusted after a couple weeks

Thanks for this thread. I'm 5"11 250 and my stock s14 seats are okay, but I'm sliding a bit because the sides aren't planting me back properly if that makes sense? Trying to find a semi-inexpensive option (since I dropped most of what I have on the S14 itself nearly three days ago.) Is it completely idiotic to look into some of the "ebay specials" or should I just save the coin & go Sparco or Corbeau down the line?

Im 6'1 220 pounds and im effin comfortable in my thrasher sparco evo xl, dont mind the ghetto tape its really torn but it gets the job done, i took the sliders out and have the seat fixed to the bracket because its my car and im the only one that drives it. and i have dumb wedge brackets which are so high i get nose bleeds some times but with the sliders out of the equation im sitting alittle lower than stock seat height here are my pics....

Im running a RECARO SPG-N on buddy club rails, its easily more comfy than my zeta 2 and is verry BIG BOOTY friendly!!

its actually wider and taller at the shoulders and at top for taller people!

and it sits verry low thanks to the budy club rails. i just had to mess with the L and 7 brackets to get everything to line right up. ill post pics after a quick vacuum.

i know its not sold in the states tho! so idk if its a pain to find,i got it in a trade and comes with a VERRY GLITTERY back so thats a +

Thanks for the feedback, my shoulders are 22inches wide. I bought my seat at streets of longbeach from sparco directly. My shoulders are definitely wider than the seat. To be honest i bought it out of impulse I liked the fighter but I couldn't afford it at the time. I never mounted the speed im still trying to sell it.

Long as somebody already bumped this, might as well use it. Any thoughts on OMP WRC XL? Seems a rather fluffy friendly seat, just haven't personally seen it in a 14 yet.

I suggest stop being so fat and lose some weight. You will have more energy and a generally happier life all around.

Unless your bones are that wide, then you probably shouldnt even own a s13.

Not my fault I got too much junk in the trunk! If I had to pick one seat for us bigger guys I would get a Sparco Evo2. Much better than a Recaro Pole Position.

When I was broke and a fatty I bought a nex racing seat and it fit my 5'10 255 butter sweating 42" waist perfectly. Currently about a 38" and its still working well. Its mounted on buddy club rails but towide to fit the slider bar so its currently fixed and does sit a little high.

Motorsport is not for fat people...

Lol

jk jk

I rock a 32 waist, am 5'9, and have an average-to-wide size back. Anything bride was VERY tight. I would imagine any western manufacturer (Summit Racing, Kirkey, etc) would be a good bet for big people

Zeta III will be a bit snug but can work. But a buddy of mine has a Buddy club wide and he likes it. He was like 5'9 230 and it fit him good.

I don't remember asking what people think about other people, I asked what are bigger people's seat set ups. You are a very ignorant person

What race are you?

I sat in a zeta3 XL last week. they're big. it's loose on a 34 (biggest dude there at the time, 200lbs maybe 5'10 or so). i'd say it's for 36+. I think it would be comfy on a 36 and might start to feel tight around 38. I wouldn't recommend it for 34 unless you're not racing and just want to be comfy with easy in/out. it fits the dudes that I know that are 6'+ 250+lbs

I'm 6'6", like 180lbs on a good day, and a size 32 or 33 waist. Pretty much fucked forever on seat selection. Right now I rock a jimmyup fake bride, and width wise it's awesome but I'm a full head taller than the seat haha.
