Excellent! And you even used a real dyno! haha Dyno Dynamics!

Great numbers. Exactly where you should be. PS what octane were you running?

I am still getting people around 300 WHP (with the regular old 2871R .64 housing) on Dyno Dynamics on 91 octane out here in shit gas country I am sure you have some better options which really helped up there as well. Thanks

I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, highest octane we have available here is 94.

that's probably the 20-30whp difference from octane ratings..lol

do you have a ignition system? like MSD, Splitfire, circuit sport dis

i got the circuit sport DIS sparks were so much better it probably made 10whp from that mod alone, and its cheap price wise compared to others...made for SR20DETs specifically too, should get one if you dont have one!

I tune other peoples cars mostly now, by request or personal appointment when it comes up. But from my experience the octane difference does help a lot. Especially 94. But I think even with 94 we couldn't have gotten those numbers on that dyno down here with a reg ole' 2871R. Cheers to Garrett at the end of the day...oh and cheers to your tuner/you did a great job nice graph!

Oh and on the ignition thing. I typically consult people to just stick with stock. Unless you're up over 400 whp you're not really going to have real blow out issues if the plugs and grounds and everything is working right. If you just want better spark then there are some minor benefits but usually don't see more than 10-15 HP on the smaller turbo hp setups.

Just as an example for my last 240, we did over 450 WHP on the dyno dynamics with a gt3076R on 19 psi with 91-100 mix. Mostly 91 though. That was with stock ignition, stock fpr, STOCK PISTONS AND RODS, stock fuel rail modded for the greddy IM. The Q45 TB helps a lot though. Greatest upgrade you can do for the money for response with any turbo. When that thing is barley taped you're sucking in as much air as a stock TB and they are practically bullet proof and almost never break if the cable is anywhere near rigged up right. I would love to see what we could do with the new GTX3076R too...
