What about the bottom where the radiator pegs rest into? Did you have to drill 2 forward holes for them?

You were still able to keep your A/C condenser even after doing this?

My setup:
As I have mentioned, I have a 7M shroud, TT fan clutch, and TT blade. As for the radiator, I have the Tech2 Koyo radiator with modified upper inlet. FYI, I have also try using the LS400 fan clutch and blade; it pulled lots of air though it gets noisy around 2k rpm since the LS400 clutch spins in the opposite direction on a 2jz block causing it to lock up at all times. However, you will need to trim the blade if you're using the TT blade, it needs to be trimmed in order to clear the shroud. Also, the TT blade will not mount on to the LS400 fan clutch. Basically, you have to use the matching blade with the clutch.

As for the A/C, you can you use the stock condenser and the dryer. The condenser needs to be moved forward since the radiator is going to take up most of its original space. You may need to cut off the very top and bottom row of the condenser in order to squeeze it in forward, right behind the hood latch support. You need custom A/C lines but that's about it. Also, you may need to make some other adjustments such as relocating the wiring harness and drilling holes/cutting the frame.

What I did:
1. Cut the top frame about x inch..I forgot the measurement but just take some measurement and use some common sense.
2. Aligned the the two prongs at the bottom of the radiator to the radiator support frame and adjust how far back you want radiator to be.
3. Drill holes for the adjusted spots on the bottom radiator support frame.
4. 7M shroud needs a minor modification to fit the radiator but the dimension fits almost perfectly onto the Tech 2 radiator.
5. Get some weather proof sealant from an auto-part store and place it between the shroud and the radiator.
6. Secure the shroud on to the radiator. I just drilled holes on the shroud and used some thick zip-tides.
7. Measure the clearance of the blade and trim.
8. Put everything together.....self explanatory..

All it takes is some common sense with some craftsmanship...that's all. I hope this helps.

Well i plan on using e-fans so i dont think clearance is going to be an issue, however, i have thought about moving the radiator a little forward to get some more clearance between the engine and rad fans.

I'm just going to run two pusher fans so I don't have to move the rad forward. I have no ac and live in canada so I should be fine.

FS: 2jz-gte spark plug cover. In pretty good shape, sprayed gloss black. Its the older style that has the emblem that you can remove, and no 2jz in-scripted by the oil fill. Cleaner look if thats what your into. $65 shipped. PM if interested

Any recommendations for fuel injector size? Ive got a 2jz + Precision 6266 .68a/r and im getting ready to order injectors/rail from FuelInjectorClinic.com

Im torn between going with the 650cc's or the 775cc's

Ill be running an SAFC II or AFC Neo at first with plans to go AEM in the future any advice is appreciated

Also does anyone know if injector plug type works with anything chasebays or wiring specialties produces?

650cc will be fine if you're going for 550whp or below, which is what that turbo is capable of.

Just literally recieved my MVP BCC (replacement for Greddy since they are discontinued)

Will report back with results

*Update*
Installation was simple, just follow this http://mkiv.com/techarticles/bcc/bcc.../bcc_intro.htm
-- After installing and tried to go into boost my afr was at 16. So I opened the bcc and turned the dial CLOCKWISE to lower the afr. For every complete turn it lowered the afr by 1. So 6 turns and I was at 11.

Forgot about this but here we go...

- Mishimoto KA radiator
- Mishimoto KA Fan Shroud Kit (2nd/current gen)
-- 1st gen fan shroud is thinnner but it would pull towards the radiator and possibly hit it, so i ran into clearance issues which is why the rad support at top is peeled back for now.
- $30 Adjustable fan controller (with probe) from advanced autozone, 89-90 s13 secondary coolant temp sensor/coupler on. Just cut the probe off and splice the wires into the sensor and you are set. No need for DIF Fan Controller unless you want it for the brand factor.

Had to bend the tabs on the corner because it was scraping on the rad.

Clearance is almost nonexistent with the current mishimoto fan shroud. I'm curious to how people have their radiators mounted. I don't have much clearance but I never have coolant problem.

Has anyone actually moved forward the radiator both top and bottom mounts? I'm going to start looking into this weekend on my S14. I don't plan on running AC, so the condensor will be gone. Any reason cutting into the support areas to do this would cause any structural issues up front I should worry about?

Same thing I was thinking of doing. But I figured a chasebays tucked radiator would do the trick. No cutting
Seems like a lot of people run ka radiators with no problem but koyo sells a dual pass sr radiator which seems like would better.

i have the same turbo, and FIC 750cc injectors with a DW300 fuel pump and a aeromotive FRP. GREAT setup. the 750cc injectors should be good to 750hp which is just over what that small of an A/R 6266 should make.

Forrest moves the whole radiator forward for every swap they do at his shop. he cuts out the whole upper portion and basically fabs up a new one that accommodates the more forward positioned radiator.

The size of the radiator and size of the fan set up you run is the main determining factor as to what your clearance will be. As I see by pictures of mounts (without change to x-member) will put you in the same area as every other mount. They are just copies of copies but with different strength materials.

As I said, with my old fan shroud I had enough clearance to put a socket on my crank bolt with a torque stick on the end of it and turn it. The new fans I have a re ALOT thicker, thus making me have to angle the rad. I would love to move the bottom mounts for the rad forward by cutting the frame support but I dont have the necessary tools to do the job.
