woman mind games..any advice?

Okay, i got this problem...There is this girl i really like, and she liked me at one point (her best freind told me this), but at the time i didnt want to date, so we hooked up like three times about 2 years ago.....and i have known her like 5 years

NOW i want to date her, and she doesnt seem to want to (she got out of a bad relationship), and the only time she seems to get really interested or makes comments about dating, is when one of her freinds or another girl hits on me when we are out.......(i would guess jealousy?) , other than those times, she says she is done with dating..........but why would she be jealous if she didnt have feelings?

lets look at the facts, there IS no such thing as friendship between men and women. men and women who are friends, will always end up becomming much more than friends -- this all depends on how much time they spend together. obviously, the more time you spend "hanging out" with a friend of the opposite sex, the more comfortable you'll get with them. eventually, one person will reach their breaking point (either horniness [man] or loneliness [woman]) and will do something stupid to show their feelings for the other person. its not necessarily stupid, but when you try to be just friends from that point in.. there's NO return -- in my opinion, this is a great thing. i'm always down for a little destruction and havoc.

so, the point here.. is what do YOU want. if you're a bench player sitting on the sidelines hoping you're going to get play-time in the finals -- good luck! what you SHOULD be doing is still somewhat keep in touch with her, but start going out with other girls and share these stories with her.. let her know what you are going through with your dating experiences and such. she'll end up getting jealous and will want you, and you on the other hand, will have fun going out (possibly sleeping too if you have game) with other women.

AND, if you're lucky.. you'll meet a girl who is even MORE fresh than this confused ass trifling biatch who isnt giving you the time of day right now. if that happens, then you can kick this chick to the curb and she'll be at your mercy trying to hookup with you.. which gives you an even greater advantage point.

dump her quit go fishing but yeah if you got other options put um in the rotation. she'll either buc up and see she needs to get serious about you or get the hell outta the way. competition is good for women they like to know other chicks are after you. makes um think your worth something. so make her a back seater put someone else in the passenger seat for now

As far as valuing myself, I'm a confident guy, and have no problems getting dates, and i'm not desperate for this girl, but i hope it can work out.(one of those awesome girls out of 1 million)
This has been my gameplan the past couple weeks...It seems to be working, she is to the point where she asks me everyday if i went on a date/talked to some other girl, with a jealous tone too.........
This is a girl i like, and could see myself having as a gf, i just wanted to know if it could go from FRIENDS->HOOKUP BUDDIES->FRIENDS(because i didnt want to date)->GIRLFRIEND

yes, this is what we guys often think about girls who are capable of mind-fucking us. while its important to attain girls that we have likings for, its also important not to get mind-fucked. this involves mentally demoting the girl onto NORMAL status until she can prove that she is worth as much as we think shes worth.

ive met plenty of girls that have gotten my attention but when it comes to showing that attention to me, or making room in their life for me -- they cannot open up. so, no sense in wasting time with imaginary value -- move on and find something that is real. either you're not good enough for her or shes too stupid to value you, so no sense in fiddle filing, put her on rotation until jealousy kicks in.

I came out of a bad relationship when she wanted to date me, and i wasnt ready...so she dated some other guy who ended up hurting her...

And when i was ready to date her, she had just came out of that bad relationship....i just think it was bad timing...I think i am going to just let it go, and meet some other ladies...

Personally, If I were you I would just back off her for a little bit, this same situation has happened to me before too (weird huh? since i'm a girl ..lol) But if you just back away and let them come to you eventually she'll be like: "well,what's going on? He wants nothing to do with me anymore?" (and possibly come crawlin' back) Maybe she likes the fact that she konws that you like her and that she can in some way control you. And at the same rate, when your not off hitting it off with other girls she doesnt' care because she knows she has nothing to worry about. But once she see's that you are she gets jealous because she possibly thinks you have moved on, which she doesnt want you to do,but at the same time she doesnt want to be with you. Moral of this story is: Let her go, talk to her before you do and figure out and ask her what exactly is going on. If it appears to not be worth it, let it go, and let her be jealous.

2. Talk to her about it. If you can't be honest with her, PLEASE be honest with yourself, now it is time to...
3. Gauge where you go from there to her reaction. If she wants what you want, take it where it will go...

...the friend ladder Makoto posted has been kicked around before and it is dead right, if only because it isn't wrong. Come up with where you are on her ladder(s), hell force it out of her if necessary, and do what is necessary. If it isn't to go anywhere other than just physical involvement, make sure that is worth it at the very least... Good luck!
