Lightbulb Tomei 2 way LSD: how to install?

I'm planning on purchasing a Tomei 2 way LSD very soon!
I want to know the difficulty level of installation. Also, if you have installed one before, please give me a write up! From what I've heard, that Tomei 2 way is not that difficult to install compared to the Kazz unit. But correct me if I'm wrong, please be helpfull with some info.

Installation is not hard. (if you have a bearing press)

Setting back lash for the ring and pinion is.

Just follow the instructions from the FSM then take it to a shop for back lash adjustment.

Kinda wondering if I have done something wrong in the past two installs I did, where is the bearing press needed?

Hardest part in my opinion was torquing down the ring gear right. It was very hard to keep the diff from spinning.

How are the post above not helpful?

You need a bearing press and you need to know how to set your back lash.

If you don't know what or how to do that, take it to a shop.

That's about as helpful as anybody here can get.

My bad, I forgot that people on this forum liked to be spoon fed like google is only used for rocket scientists.

I'm pretty sure the FSM provides plenty of useful information regarding virtually every part of this chassis. Oh and look, Sileighty mentions it and OP is still asking for more information.

What else is there to install a diff that that can't be looked up on google?

Exactly, shut up. You tried white knighting and you completely fucked the white knighting part..

Why should I? With the information provided to me using this forum and google, I can put together a 2 way into the pumpkin correctly and back on the car with 0 problems.

I came into this thread stating that all the information is placed in front of OP's face and that there should be no reason to ask any further questions because I can guarantee you that the information on installation can either be found on the manufacturers website, installation instructions came with the box, can be found using google, or with the help of the FSM.

What you simples don't realize is if you don't know how to search for information or utilize the info that's in front of you, why are you modding cars yourself? Why bother asking others for help, not utilizing that information, and asking for more help if you can't put one and two together? Take it to a shop and have them do it for you.

There's no need to get all butthurt just because somebody talks down towards all of you when you want to be spoon fed.

Anyway:

I understood what he said initially and I didn't address it according to the way you would have liked but because it bothered you, I'm very sorry. Instead I showed my distaste and responded accordingly, it irked me to see somebody ask more questions as if the posts above OP's was not helpful enough or as if google does not exist. I'm going to keep the "sand in the vagina" and will keep telling people to search.

Zooopreme thanks for the extra info/links! It helps looking at pictures!
I also just wanted other people's opinions and "how to's",
Because some people on here do things differently.
Any ways, thank you very much!

We can help you with the Differential itself if you are interested.
We are direct with Tomei and can offer you a great price for the LSD.

To install the carrier bearings on the diff... A hammer and a piece of 2x4 is not really the best choice for pressing on bearings and the bearings should not just slide on either

That is true, we just used one of those little screw type bearing/seal installers. When you say bearing press I was thinking huge press like the 86 axle bearings need.

It can be done fairly easy if you have a big enough bench vise.

It would have to be a fairly serious vise to fit something as big around as the diff, but if it is it's an easy job.
