ISIS GT Single. Got a exhaust ticket last month for "widen outlet on muffler". Cop said my exhaust produced loud noise so this is the offense they ticket you under. BS Ticket though as he was right beside me at a red light before he pulled me over, we were going 20km/hr after light turned green.
Now considering getting a OEM style looking exhaust like the ISIS MBSE Type E or similiar. ![]() |

![]() ISIS Single GT with Silverline Resonator (not shown). Pic was taken just after i raised up the exhaust with custom 2$ hose clamps. Have a good 3 fingers between lowest part of catback and ground. Exhaust needed some minor mods to fit properly. As the hangar right next to the diff was pretty off, not allowing my bushing to go on properly. Exhaust shop cut, and rewelded the hangar so that it fits nice now. Exhaust is tucked up almost as far as it will allow. I have around a 1 finger gap between muffler tip and this metal body seam above the muffler, 1 finger gap between the axleback piping and the rear subframe, 1 finger between the piping and the gas tank. Awesome sounding exhaust btw, albeit, a little drony on the hwy, but i've only had it for about a week, so we will see how loud it is once everything is broken in. |

Have an exhaust shop fab up some new hangars ($20-30 MAX) and use the hose clamp mod to bring the exhaust up as far as you can. With the clamp mod i managed to get 1 finger gap between my muffler tip and that metal body seam.

Just installed:
![]() HKS Sport exhaust. Seems like a rare exhaust (not in terms of production, but in terms of people actually running it on their cars) I believe it is the only one that has been posted on this thread. Sounds pretty good. Very quiet although it doesnt have a resonator. And looks dead stock from even up close, unless you take a good look at the piping under the car. Being that everything is black, it makes that pretty difficult. Fitment was very good. i have about 1/4" above the muffler tip to the metal body seam, 1/4" between the subframe and the pipe (where the muffler connects to the midpipe) and decent clearance below the piping. It tucks up really nice. This is with Circuit Sports exhaust bushings (brand new) sans hose clamps. The exhaust is also pretty light. |
