S13 steering part number question
Yesterday I removed the OEM steering wheel on my S13 in order to install an aftermarket hub/wheel. I'm assuming the previous owner had an aftermarket wheel at one point, and replaced it with the OEM wheel before selling it, because the nut holding the wheel on wasn't threaded all the way tight. The nut was fairly easy to turn the first few turns, but then became very difficult. By the end, I had to use a breaker bar to turn the nut, and I could visibly tell that it was cross threaded.
Anyway, here's what I'm left with: ![]() ![]() I looked on Courtesy Parts, but couldn't really tell what part this is. Anybody know? Anybody have one laying around?? Also, if this has happened to you, suggestions on how to fix it are welcomed. |

That's it. $196.12.
There's a plenty at junkyards since not many people take steering columns. SHAFT ASSY-STEERING COLUMN,UPPER - 240SX (S13) 1989-1994 :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com While you are at it, replace rubber bushing with this. Totally worth it. ![]()
