How much do you pay for insurance?

I pay around 280 every 6 months for my DD integra and I want to get my 240 insured so I can drive it on the streets as well.

But they originally wanted about 260 to insure my 240 but the bill just came today and the assholes want 440 now. WTF?

Both my cars would only have liability and nothing else.

Are they stupid or something? Do they not realize there is only 1 of me so adding another car doesn't mean I'm driving any more?

These insurance crooks just piss me off....

I'm 20 but I'm on my parents plan. No accidents, no tickets, I've been driving since I was 16. I'm not sure if the insurance providers think I'm the one driving or my 18 year old brother or my parents. I don't think they asked.

If you pay 280 for 6 months for the integra, and they want 260 for the 240sx for 6 months. It would come out to 540, being you'll get the multiple car discount, they only want 440 for 6 months.

Which I dont think is bad, then again I pay $108 a month for mine. but It consist of an 06 Xterra with full coverage and a 1999 Accord also full coverage. And I have a point in my record.

that would be nice. But they want 440 just for the 240. The bill says "240 premium - 440"

The only way to get around that is to exclude you guys, if its under your parents, It'll be cheaper. My parents had to do that with my civic back then...Cops doesnt worry about who's name is in the insurance car. God forbid, if you get in a fender bender, your parents have to show up and as if they were the one driving.

oh JUST for the 240. still not bad, you look at it as 75 a month. Then again, that only liability right? sucks. Try and insure your car at a different place. Esurance or what not and get a quote.
