If you're really doing the silvia front you should keep those original fenders stored somewhere and not repaint them or have some one else destroy them.

I'm confused. Why would he want somebody to destroy his fenders?

You suggested he saves them but at the same time, you want him to get rid of it?

Are you trying to suggest that he uses the fender for color matching? I mean there are codes and having the original frame itself is what makes two tones rare, not so much the paint.

I mean in the sense if he were to sell them to somebody who in turn will probably do something stupid and ruin them. Not just some dude going to his house with a hammer to smack his fenders with.

I'm saying, imo, its always good to have that extra set of fenders and also keeping all the original things from the car.

When I eventually switch over to a Silvia front I'm keeping all my original pignose body parts in the attic.

I plan in keeping all my original pieces from the front end, but the original bumper was hacked by previous owner for intercooler setup, and yes the the CA18det is period correct but parts are hard to come by in Florida, I already had the complete SR swap just sitting waiting for a rebuild so no sense in buying another swap. But input is greatly appreciated guys I'm happy to save this one from a wall tapper or scrap yard!!!

^sounds good. With the SR swap, if you go with the silvia front, get a K series front bar with side vent, and run a smic, or with the pignose front, run a jdm pignose 180sx side vent with the smic- just to be period correct

Rebuilding CA18 to keep it OG, updating everything I can touch -- replacing 90% of it with OEM for interior/wiring/etc with the help of my girlfriend.

Thanks bro, should be the fastest CA18 in canada (hopefully). Shooting for the conservative 350-400whp mark. Custom mani + BW EFR6758 etc etc. Just currently collecting all the parts.

Here's a couple more for the love of two tone

CA18 removed, still need to tackle this whole situation, painting bay, ordering all new wiring harnesses and everything OEM.


SSR Koenigs - 18x9 +4 // 18x10 +4 ... OG wheels yo


Showing the ENDLESS - SSY pads + new 300zx calipers, DOT braided lines, DBA rotors, blah blah blah.


I should probably make a build thread, but my IS300 thread took forever to make, maybe once i have time.
