SR SR20 Engine harness questions please help

ok guys heres the issue im having. I ordered a sr20det s13 engine harness from ebay. It said it was for a red top/ black top. And threw research i found that either or will work before i ordered the harness.

The problem i am running into is that the maf plug on the harness is not the same as the plug on the red top maf i have.

My harness is also missing the little harness that plugs into the cooltant temp sensor and temp sending unit. Is a complete harness suposed to come with that and/or does anybody know where i can find one.

But my main concern is why is the maf plug different Its not the little square plug its a more oval plug. Because if the harness is not for a s13 im gonna try and send it back because they had it advertised as an s13 harness.

Because they use different mafs from different years. Simple as that. The coolant temp sensors pigtail should come off the main harness and should have come with it. It should connect into the main harness in one of the junction connectors that sits near the part of the harness going to the intake manifold side for the injectors, iacv, fic, and so on. there is two junction connectors on that part of the main harness that go to different things. You should have gotten a complete harness.

Just rewire the maf harness. Not hard at all. Sounds like you got screwed anyways.

If its the square one with the metal U clip then the early b13 sentra and ka's use that style. If its the newer style that just clips on then the 95+ sentra and 200sx's use them and I believe the KA24DE in the S14's use them as well. Pretty standard connector.

You can use the KA24E MAF on your redtop, but you have to wire in the KA plug to make it work, you might as well just buy the plug for your current MAF.

Wiring Specialties should have one they can sell you. I think I have one laying around too.

Oh yeah. You got rolled on that. You aren't gonna be driving far without it. Here's what you do:

-The single pin connector is easy, just wire in a female spade from the switch (sensor) whatever it goes to.
-The other coolant sensor will be a little harder, but it can be done. All you have to do is find a coolant sensor connector. The connector you need is from any S13 KA harness, it'll be square. Either use your old one (if you have one) or go to a junkyard. When you cut it off, give yourself enough wire to work with. Wire it into your conversion harness.

You might have to pull pins from an old harness ECU connector if they didn't only cut the connector off.

Hey guys I ended up sending that harness back and getting a swap harness from wsp engine harnesses. Now here is my problem now. I have a j4 ecu. I know I have to switch some pins around I have searched and searched and I have found a few pinouts but idk if im slow or what but I am having a hell of a time figuring out what pins to move and what not to. If somebody could help me out on this it would be greatly appreciated.

hey guys i got the harness repined. I started to hook up the harness today and ran into a few problems. There is a big valve under the intake manifold (ill post a pic) that just hangs there. I have no clue what it is. My buddy brought his sr swapped s13 and he does not have it. I would like to know what it is and how/if i can delete it.

The plug that plugs into that is a sub harness it goes to my iacv as well. But does not have the plug to plug into my harness plus it has a bunch of other plugs on it as well. ( i will post pic of it as well) i look at my buddys and he doesnt have any of those plugs. on his iacv there is only 2 plugs that go into his iacv then come out into 1 plug that plugs into his harness.

Ill post a pic of that sub harness. It has 2 huge plugs on it that i cant find in pictures or anything.

My question is how do i delete the valve. and what harness do i gotta get for my iacv so itl plug right up to my harness.
