IMO that's awesome. Trucking, farm equipment, and other industrial equipment are the biggest polluters in the US. IMO it's about damned time they stopped trying to blame enthusiasts and older vehicles for all of it. No sympathy from me, I think it's GREAT...

Registering out of state is illegal. If you're a California resident you HAVE to have your vehicles registered in California. You'll probably get away with it for a while, but once that dickhead cop sees that your liscence is a CA liscence and your plates aren't you might just have yourself some trouble.
