As far as miles goes, these engines can be extremely reliable with care and maintenance. Just as with any car it depends on how the owner took care of it.

I have to chime in here. you are definitely wrong about the differences being slight from a WRX to an STI. Im not going to go into all the differences but I cant definitely say the STI is worth it if you can afford one over a WRX.

Per the original question. I would go with the STI over a Corvette. Corvette is an older persons car and more grown up. If you want a fun, young car. Get the Subaru.

The two cars really do not compare. That STI is an amazingly fun car and for the mods and condition it looks to be in I would say $15K is a fair price on it.

15k is too much so i agree there...

vettes rock but for some reason id never want to own one... its like one of those dream cars that you finnaly get to own and then the luster of the car vanishes...im weird though im not against american muscle but the way american cars are headed these days arent in my taste.. the mustang and the vette have my hopes going... the challenger looks cool but once again its just to large and bulky for no reason...cept well. MERICA!

Why are you calling everyone else a moron? Slow your roll buddy.

Its a younger persons car IMO. Nothing my dad would drive. Its certainly not the type of car a typical older gentleman would buy. Not to say some old dudes don't have one, there's always exceptions.

What do you own yourself since you are so high and mighty?

Didnt know post count mattered. Check out my join date compared to yours if you want to compare something.

Since you asked. Lets size them up.

I drive a 2006 Subaru WRX STI and a 1995 Nissan 240sx with a RB26.

My opinion wasn't useless. Maybe to you it was but it wasn't meant for you in the first place.

And sorry I dont know what a 06 TBSS is.... Quick google search turned up trailblazer SS? Who cares what your girlfriend drives? Should we list what our friends, family, parents, etc drive while we are at it? Wanna compare dicks too to see whos is bigger? Come on dude. Chill out! Its a forum. Dont take it soo seriously. My posts were my opinion. Nothing more.

I bought it mother fucker so it does matter. Got any more useless shit to say that you want me to correct for you?

YOUR OPINION is exactly what I said it was. Not facts. Just a bunch of bullshit about old guys this, and young cars that.

Sounds like I'm really bothering you.

Its a stereo-type of what people view it as... same as your view as only douche bags drive subarus. Dont mean to flame on your favorite car but its just what the world view it as.

Seriously, I'm confused as to why Subby vs Corvette. Totally apples and oranges. Might as well compare a Toyota Prius and a Ford F150. One can help you buy another car, and the other can tow another ar.
For god sakes DO NOT buy a E46. The cooling system in those cars are garbage. Plastic everything and they crack.

No offense that you already have it but the design is just flawed
