I changed out my trans oil to redline MT 90, no clue what was in it before. had to replace rear trans seal. And now my clutch is engaging when fully pressed in and it engaged before when close to fully depressed. Was there something i was supposed to do but didnt or wtf happened? Its a 92 240 with sr swap and stage 3 clutch

did you bleed the hydraulic system after you drained/disconnected your slave cylinder?

i only changed out the transmission fluid, nothing else. after driving it around a bit more its slowly going back to normal. should i still be worried or do i need to do anything extra? never heard of anything more needing to be done with a trans fluid change

it has had no conversion done to it, and 240s are normally push style right? its a SPEC 6 puck stage 3 clutch. what are you getting to if its either push or pull, what changes here with the situation? i dont know mush about the differences, i just know they both exist

ah i thought you mightve pulled the trans to replace the seal so i assumed you removed the slave

It could possibly be seals in the master or slave starting to leak, the system in need of a bleeding, or old fluid. The clutch system uses brake fluid, which should be changed every 2 years.

That, or it's all in your head.

youre probably right and yes its around that time for fluid change, its back to normal now but still gonna change it
