It's not very technical, but I think this forum is still the right place to put it.

Basically, how did you guys mount the S15 12mm shift knob to an S13/S14 (10mm) shifter base?

I read before that someone used an adpater piece that basically screwed onto the shifter and had a thread which was 12mm in size. But I don't have access to a nearby machine shop or anything.

If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it. Thanks
