what would happen if you put in gl-4 instead of gl-5 into your differential?
how do you know if your open diff is dying?

a dying open-diff? do you mean a dying vlsd?

no i mean open differential if thats even possible. recently under hard turns i get a groaning noise from the rear. nothing seems to be rubbing though but i think i've been hearing a differential whine lately too. i just had a buddy at jiffylube change the fluid but i wonder if he misunderstood me when i said gl-4 in the tranny and gl-5 in the diff. i know the noise isnt the tire rubbing and i've never heard the suspension make that type of noise either. i do have some rather newly installed agx's with Sustech springs though.
