Ok, whenever i click a damm topic it redirects me to a google search and will either have petco pop up or tech depot pop up come on the screen and instead of taking me to the thread i will get redirected to a google search that searched for what the thread was about, now, is anyone else getting this? I know it is not just my computer because it happened to me earlier at work and now at home and this is the only forum that dose it to me, is anyone else having these two pop ups come up when browsing zilvia, and do you keep getting rediredcted to that annoying google search??????? If this keeps happening im not gonna come back to the forum, its annoying as hell, im sorry if i sound a lil upset cuz i am frustrated

+1 spyware and/or virus.
We don't want anyone to leave upset, and I know that Mark would not let popups on this site in any form, ever. He was very strict about that when selecting advertisers. The only issue we've had before, which I belive is changed now, is the old home page at www.zilvia.net had a poll on it, hosted free by some people that added popups to it. I have always entered zilvia forums directly, but I'm pretty sure that the poll was taken down due to the popups.

Ok, is everyone "so sure" that I have spyware on my computer, if thats the case then why didnt it go away when I ran the ad-aware scan, seriously, it ONLY happens when I am browsing through off topic on zilvia, it DOSENT happen ANYWHERE else, someone gave me a virus that makes me get pop ups ONLY on the off topic of zilvia? Come on now....someone else has to be getting pop ups when going to off topic....

dude TRUST ME, I had the same shit, you have a spyware shti that wont go away, Ok reformat and quit bitching about it, do you think we would all be here if West was doin this shit to us, It usually only will happen to sites that you frequent a lot. you have spyware, you need to reformat, If I was a mod id close this topic cause its a done deal.

get spybot search and destroy, run that first. then get ad aware, then run taht after spybot. make sure they are up to date.
