While you guys were hunting brides, you passed up two old OG nismo recaro seats. I believe these were offered for r32 gtr and I know they were put in the R33 GTR LM road car (I hope everyone is familiar with that car).





Which bring my collection of these seats to 3. The only 3 I have ever seen for sale ever lol. I know of two more in a guys gtr in Europe and I recall there was one floating around many years ago. There is also the Mesh headrest style, which I personally don't care for. This was nismo's pattern back then for whatever reason. They used in the nismo 270r although those were just basic stock style seats.

They were a Nismo catalogue option in the Mid 90's, It's probably possible to get them brand new but they won't be cheap. Navan SR-II's are 4K each D: Nice pickup

yea I'm not sure. I have heard they are discontinued and rare/sought after in japan. But I can't really find much info on them at all.

They're discontinued and like most discontinued stuff hard to find. I personally love that style of Nismo buttplug knob, looks so much better than the current logo versions.

I'm curious as well. I've measured the full bucket Brides and couldn't imagine how I could pack it to fit within the dimension limits. Semi-buckets are easy because you can unbolt and fold them over.

I also was recently outbid on a TommyKaira bucket (of which i have never seen another) Id be skeptical of ordering buckets from japan as its hit or miss fitting into them comfortably(32" waist). I most likely will be searching for some confetti recaros for my build.

damn man you should of bought the 400r seat. It's cool just to have that stuff. That is how I started, I found one nismo recaro and was just going to get a recaro profi spa for driver side. But then I found one of these seats and bought it immediately. Went on the next day and saw he was selling both seats just separate. So I bought the other to. I think Ill just throw one in my dads 350z. But he might be to fat for it lol. Right now its just a gran turismo racing chair lol. Yea that nismo seat you linked is pretty cool too. There are also some old r32 gtr seats with OG nismo on the head rest area. Always liked those as well. I believe there was a pair on not to long ago. Confetti recaros kick ass, I see some pretty clean ones up now and then. I hate being a parts addict....1 car. It's to the point where I might just do a hatch build to because all the parts are laying around in the garage lol.

Well, I ordered it, got quoted at JP EMS (JapanPost) for a very reasonable price as usual. Streeter shipped it EMS and after 2 days it got sent back to him for being over the size limits. He told me he could try taking a little bit of packaging out and chancing it again, or he quoted me DHL at 45,000 yen vs. 16,500 yen. Pretty big difference.

In the end after taking a little packing out they accepted it even though he said it was still technically over-size.

The picture you posted is from a forum in the U.K/Europe.

In that thread the dude selling the seat says:

I just cut and pasted the description into Google translate which is what I'm assuming most of you guys are using.
