I was there... I entered my car with some of my friends. I ended up taking the "Best 240SX" JDM show trophy and had a girl model with my car for some pics.

I totally didn't know what had happened until my friend called me and told me to go back to my car because I'd just won. I was just there to chill with friends and stuff and didn't expect to win anything! But it was a nice surprise! Too bad I missed the girl though.

I think SpeedyZX is gonna post some pics.

Yeah.. it's like the car in my avatar... the avatar is not my car but pretty close.

I was seriously totally surprised. If I was the judge I would have given it to someone else, there were a lot more done up cars.

Yeah, like the black Sil-80. LOL, just kidding. Your car was cool, looks great. The kouki front end looked nice. I swear I saw you around the sunset district once. What connectors did you used to wire the position lights? I'm in the process of installing a kouki myself. Needs paint and connecting the lights.

Overall the show was okay. Don't have to pay a cent to watch, which was the best part. The Spoon RSX was cool. Most of the cars there looked nice too. My friend with the MX-6 and red MR2 also entered their cars in the show too which was surprising.

I am in SF a lot... I'm in Sac/Davis occasionally. I usually wave at most 240s I see.

There's two different types of connectors for the lights .. the bumper position lights you can use spade connectors, the lower turn signals require you to modify the spade connectors (cut in half) to fit the smaller pins or maybe something else works. You need to split the normal turn signal wires (3 of them) into 4, 2 grounds and one to stay on and the other to blink. The position lights stay on and the turn signals blink. I paid a shop to do it... actually not that hard if you can wire a stereo, this is easy stuff.

to post pics, you can attach to your message under the "additional options" under "attach files" and the "manage attachments" button. Just make sure you resize them to a smaller size before attaching.
