+1 these things do wonders, use a propane torch to evenly heat the nut and give it a go...has saved my ass more than once.

I've used the exact kit too.

For stubborn nuts, I heated the nut with out applying direct heat to the stud as best I could. Then i tapped on the extractor and used a breaker bar. You can also try hammering on a smaller socket.

I also soaked the nut with pb blaster through out the day, the day before.
