So ive recently ran into this problem. my rev lamp fuse keeps blowing and im not exactly sure why but its causing my car to have slow acceleration and not shift into the next gear
it usually blows when I go from park to reverse to drive or from park to drive but I dont know why.
I put it in 1 and it drives just fine. Then I put it in 2 and it acts up, after that I put it in drive and it seems like it doesn't even shift. When I go from 1 to 2 it shift hard. ive searched and I cant seem to find a solid answer. Think something could be wrong with my a/t control unit? Also ive noticed that the fuse doesnt blow if I go from park to reverse then once im done reversing wait 5 secs and then put it in drive. If I do this too quickly the fuse blows. This is why I think something is wrong with mt a/t control unit. yes I know I need a 5 spd swap but money is a little tight right now so im trying to avoid that as much as I can. Thank you.
