front diffuser/rear and aerodynamics
has anyone created their own front diffusers or splitters for the front or rear for their s-chassis?
ive researched a little on the aerodynamics of it and how downforce can affect a car. Im currently trying to think of ideas for a time attack look for my car. s13 hatch. im mainly thinking of making something for the chuki bumper I have. my car isn't super low nor high. just an even stance. I was wondering if anyone on here can give me some more insight on splitters and diffusers specific to a s-chassis, if it matters. |

Yea, he's on NRR. But lots of guys over there have built aero for their cars.
I wouldn't do it for a street car, a real splitter makes getting in and out of stuff a PITA, and you have to run a rear wing to balance the car out.

get some plywood, and use cardboard as a stencil. make your own splitter and paint it black.. use some nuts and bolts to hold it to the bottom of the bumper / tension rod brackets / and bumper support. a lot of people actually use wood for splitters.. as its cheap, and it will be torn apart anyways when you hit something. But if your wanting to spend some serious dough for a look... ![]() there are tons of Carbon fiber wings out there, and canards.

^well its like half and half on the looks and function. im wanting to try auto cross soon and grip a few races. also this is my daily driver so I would like for it to have some functionality to it.
what I really like the most right now is the greddy rocket bunny setup in the front. the rear looks a little advance for me. what im going to be running is a 326 wing. don't know if that will help with a rear diffuser or not. im trying to keep the oem bumper and and a rear diffuser like can bolt up and bolt right off when I need it too. ive seen a few time attack guys in s14s that have a big plate on the bottom.
