You don't have to pay anything. If you don't know anything about cars from what it sounds like.
You bought the car and cop did his thing, explain to judge that you don't understand a thing what the problem is and what part of your car is illegal. You don't know anything about engines. They can't fine you for that. Then tell the judge you will either sell the car to someone for off-road use or you will bring it to a shop for them to put the correct engine in.

that's what i DON'T want tho... Last thing I want is to have it as non opp race car or having to sell it after throwing pay check after fkn pay check to it.. money isn't the issue here

also, IC piping isnt incriminating evidence to search a vehicle.

I don't need anybody's sympathy man, wasn't trying to be an ass to anybody here all this info helped me and calmed me down a lot I appreciate everybody's help and insight on this, you have to understand the situation through my eyes if there's no way around it I'll simply part out the hole car and buy a new car. It's not the end of the world but it's a shitty situation to be in here in Cali
