I think mine is the older design though, that looks like a newer version. I know a friend of mine bought one about 8 years ago that was around 2-3k and his looked identical to mine, but that one has a few variances, looks a big more upgraded

Yeah I was lucky to run across it. Funny thing is guy had his whole motorset f/s for 3800 and no one bought it. I bought everything but the block and I got it for about 3/4 of that. I def say I lucked out. And when I say block I mean block....I got pistons, rods, etc lol

I don't recall of any advantages of S13 bottom with s14 head. Unless you started with a s13 and wanted to have VTC to go with it.

Flow rates are supposed to be better on s14 head than s13...and vtc is deleted....the cams are degreed anyways....woulda thrown off the vtc regardless

Thanks man, and I am running an hks 2530r with a .70 compressor housing. I had ordered and although I know it sounds risky an obx-r manifold, but they have really come a long way, friend of mine has one and loves it, hand made and what not and pretty low budget as far as price but still a little more than circuit sports or megan. But alas when I got it, from what they tell me heat from the tig welding I guess warped the turbo flange, so I had to send it back to be replaced. Eventually I'll upgrade to a tomei, but at the moment I didn't have the spare scrap and I needed to get up and running before my girl starts her intership.

Here is a pic of it though, its a lovely manifold.

But if ur interested here's my build thread, beware though a TON of pics!

That'll be the next upgrade, but at 530 vs 199 and we have some issues right now too, wife's rb car is down, she wrecked my truck, some unexpected medical bills. Something had to suffer a little bit. But it'll get there eventually. When I sell my sc400, ill be grabbing my wheels, putting on kit, painting, and adding bigger turbo. Another reason I didn't upgrade. May end up going top mount.

Oh and from that earlier post you'd be HIGHLY surprised the scene we have here. At least 200-300 modded 240's in the 3 city area. Between the three cities there's a population of about 1.6 million. HUGE modded car scene, especially imports. We have weekly meets in each of the cities that prolly yeilds at least 300-400 cars on the night they host em. Good stuff, a lot of really nice 240's too, some turbo ls ones, vh45's, random stuff, 2jz, I know of one pop charged ls7 one! Awesome stuff!

Cool thread. Lots of nice stuff in here!

Love the old kevlar bucket seats, awesome!.

Couple things I've got.

COrrect me if I am wrong but I think these gaugeseries are dicontinued from HKS decades ago:

I got :
El. Boost pressure, goes to 2.5 bar and have the possibility to set a warning. Does a test when ignition is on
El. Exhaust temperature, have the possibility to set warning light and also does a test when ignition is on

Mec. Watertemp
Mec. Oilpressure
Mec. Oil temp
Mec. Fuel Pressure

______________

Another part I've got, dont know how rare but the price was steep and it took a long time for my friends @ Endless-R in Japan to source it

1000 hp rated
6 speed Quaif seq. transmission With Hoolinger internals. It was developed by both Quaif and Hoolinger. Still havent received it as just the postage is about 1700 USD with boat from Japan to Norway, and I have just been jobless past 4 months until now.
It's a bit old but It have not been used for anything more than to barely move a Showcar in/out of Showhalls.

Most rare i got is the Ex Super Touring SR20 engine. It's not the cylinderhead on this picture, the actual cylinderhead is stored in another garage until rest of the car is ready for some asphalt. The coolest thing in my opinion is the magnezium valvecover, it weight only a couple hunded grams (less than 0.5 litre coca cola).

before paint

VS normal redtop cover (p10primera)

I've been told there is 10-12 in the world of this type.
Made 332 BHP N/A (9,450 rpm max)

thanks

Problem is that I am obsessed, at least with getting rare race-used parts from Nissan and affiliates (probably not the right word, eg. like Calsonic, Daishin etc etc) of Nissan works teams

Finally I got a job again after 4 months without, so now the Shopping can begin again. Going to Japan in December, fullpacked trip
Visiting Nismo and having private meetings with few Nismo engineers and Boss of Techno first
Visiting Top Secret and dinner with Smokey Nagata and other local "heros"
ALso visiting JUN, HKS and few other local shops who sells some amazing parts I've been told.

Also going to watch my Friend try to set a lap record on Tsukuba with his authenctic GT300 S15 (one of 3 ever made, similiar to the one i posted above).
I neeeeeeed to win a lottery before I go down there, strangely I sence that i will want to spend money down there hahaha

Nismo SR20 Pistons

actually 2 pieces but they are laserwelded on the top, this is because they got some insane cooling passages and other secrets inside
