Ah, well figure out what they are for sure. If they are old and dingy cheap ones then replacing them with new cibies would give the best improvement, more so than bulbs.

glass housings.

i just want really good light output, as well as the color being white.

good housings, and bulbs will do the job. now... i just need to find the best bulbs money can buy/
