Rb25det swap
I am conidering doing a rb25det swap in my s13,I am familular with the basic parts of the swap. However Iam not too familular with the rb25det engines. I kinda of need some input on wich one to go with and where to get it from. Ive been reading horror stories about people buying them and getting rb20de heads on the det block and I am not sure what series to go with either. any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

Do some searching on company's that have the engine sets. I purchased mine from zero lift about 4 years ago and was very happy with the engine. It's a s2 and I would get that or a neo maybe. Make sure you get the engine, transmission, ecu, wiring harness and maf.
If you search on here you can find the RB FAQ that will give you alot of info on it. The RB's are great if you leave it stock and get a new ecu with a good tune. Once you start pushing them hard they have a few issues you should address, it's all in the FAQ. Good luck with the swap man, I love my RB
