Yeah I understand the pricing high and selling for what you really want (thats what I usually do but within reason) but I guess I just never have the guts to lowball people to bad.
Got my 90 hatch for $500 running with an auto and knocking engine now I rarely see people selling shells that clean for the price. Also acquired a fairly clean stock auto s14 today, so I'm finally back in the seat of a real car. Now just to start piecing together a 5 speed swap.... so if anyone's got some pieces hit me up!

don't be afraid to low ball. Go with cash in hand. Can't act interested at all, don't talk about drifting or anything even remotely to do with these cars. Just talk like you are needing a shitbox to save gas with. Act like you don't even know what it is. If they say no, you just tell them to call you when they are tired of sitting on it. But you have to do things in a nonchalant respectful kind of way. I always like to prep myself by thinking its your chance to mind f$%& someone. Manipulation is always fun, just like talking to hoes at the bar. If they sell it to someone else, oh well, that guy got screwed. If no one buys the pile, they will have your number and call you just to move it. Should of got this approach going weeks ago as people like to get extra money for holidays etc.
