school me on engine bay painting??

I sanded mine down good. filled the holes i didnt need, cleaned it all, hit it with a sealer primer, sanded it again and shot it with a couple of coats of base and a couple of coats of clear. first time painting too. turned out pretty good.

only pic i have of the bay:


do it right and take everything out. painted brake lines and wiper motors are gross.

i hate to thread jack but where did you get that front bumper/lip? is it an oem bumper with an aftermarket lip? it flows sooo nice! also props on the color my hatch is a 90 and the same color!

looks like a xenon lip to me
