HELP: Rear defroster/defogger doesn't work. Hatchback

Hello everyone, I have a question about the back window defogger. The rear windows on the hatch s13's defogger doesn't work. It's the lines that run across the windows that do the job in defogging the windows right? They heat up? Well, I took a close look at the window and none of the lines are cracked, so I'm guessing that's not the culprit?

Not sure what's the tool called, but i just happen to have one and I placed it on the lines and the sides, and it seems to be getting electricity. So I'm guessing the fuse works, and the cords are all connected, but my windows aren't clearing up when it's fogging! Any ideas?

I know pictures don't help, but I'm just showing you a picture, incase no one knows what tool I'm talking about to see if there's electricity going to the windows. But yeah, see? It lights up, meaning the fuse isn't burnt or the cords/wires running to the windows is not broken right? correct me if I'm wrong.

any ideas?

TL; DR

My rear window defogger/defroster doesn't work on my s13 Hatchback. It seems to be getting power though on the defogger lines. But it's still not clearing up. The lines on that run across the windows are not cracked either. Help?

Thanks Zilvia

If both sides light up, it means you have no ground.

And that tool is called a test light.
