If by chance you mean missing = running rough / poor idle, then check the wire running to your Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Wiggle the wire connector at the sensor. If your idle clears up & the engine starts to idle normally, then your problem is probably gonna be a bad wire or bad connector. Your ECU uses the signal from the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor to adjust your idle. Check your FSM for an explanation and details as to how it operates.
