What car and engine is this fan being paired to. Kind of hard to tell you much more if people don't have any idea what kind of car it is.
Do you have an OEM clutch fan AND electric fan, or just an electric fan? Usually you will have 2 fan setup, one for engine cooling, with the secondary being a smaller fan for the AC, and only comes on when using the Air conditioning.
