wow, i swear, the KA-T is volatile compared to SR crap i've seen. I'm doin a KA turbo next 240 project i do. I've yet to run my car at the track, but w/ 2.5" exhaust, FMIC, BOV, Boost Controller, fuel pump and year old fuel (car sat for a long time) i dynoed 210 whp at 8 psi

now i've got all the exhaust goodies 3" to the bumper, 14 psi, hopefully i can pull off mid-high 13's at the least

This paticular car dynoed 305 whp on 10psi of boost and 405 whp 409 TQ on 16psi boost.

Aything much more then 400whp the ring lands on the stock KA pistons crack. I am currently building a forged piston motor with strengthened stock rods to see how much HP I can get out of the stock long block plus pistons.

Everything on the KA seems to have been overbuilt or with boost in mind except for the pistons. I was so impressed with this motor / car, I decided to build an all out drag race car with the KA motor which can also been seen at the link above.
