s13 ka24de revving problems

so ive run into a weird problem sometimes my car will rev fine once or twice but most of the time it'll rev to 4k and backfire sometimes i have to tap the throttle to get it there and sometimes it just dies when you try to rev it im not getting any codes and it idles absolutely perfect no vacuum leeks

list of things checked
tps
maf
dizzy
ecu
coil
igniter
coolant temp sensor is new
cylinder head is new but did same thing with the old one
timing is spot on lined up on the marks
tryed timing dizzy every way possible

any help is appreciated trying to resurrect this thing after sitting in a garage for seven years

Did you drain the fuel tank and add fresh fuel? Replace fuel filter?

i literly just changed the fuel filter and still a no go some times its fast sometimes it wont rev even if the maf is unplugged it wont rev

I have a permanent solution to your problem, but it involves petrol and some matches.

Sounds like a plan

I have pulled the motor and I have started building another since I have mostly everything to build another I just need gaskets bearing and rings...and time I only have 4 weeks to get the head resurfaced get everything ordered and here and get it done

And yes I checked fuel pressure and changed the pump since I had a spair

UPDATE... built another motor having the same problems changed coolant temp sensor and fuel rail again and still doing the same thing can anyone help its like its pulling alot of timeing and itll run good for a few minutes then wont rev and backfires into the intake
