How weird, maybe they have a different process for stuff coming from the Aussies. I recieved my stuff on Thursday morning. It was in customs for only 22 hours lol

All said and done I had a bumper shipped EMS from Osaka in about 4 days..not bad as I've had domestic packages take longer lol

Not sure how you could snipe on that item. Its set up for an auto time extension when place a bid with less than 8 mins left

Real bidding doesnt take place until the last 45 mins of the auction. So if you think cuz ppl havent bid on it in the last 5 days that no one is interested you are wrong.

That auto time extension is so annoying. I always end up in bidding wars dragging it out another 20 minutes.

Yeah I didnt get that aspect as an ebay user. It certainly can make things difficult. Yaj isnt a way to haggle like ebay or a flea market. Best bet is bid heavy for what you want and you will get it.

But this route can be costly....

Its good and bad. Its great for the seller. Kinda good for the buyer since you cannot get sniped, it levels the playing field and it boils down to who has the deepest pockets

I said 2 hrs tho not 8 minutes. I knew another person using streeter was bidding, assumed he/she was american and I knew their max bid and decided to wait till 3-4 am (assuming they were sleeping -snipe factor) to make another bid 2 hrs before the auction ended. O well, am kinda glad I didn't win it, already have a decent intercooler.

And to other users not all auctions have automatic time extensions, I've won several items by bidding on them with a few minutes left.

You do know Japanese guys want this stuff as well. It ended at 2132 so that's prime time for us guys here in Japan. So like a said 2 hours before the auctions ended is a pretty big risk unless you bid an ungodly amount.

Its very rare that someone wont use an auto extension option. At least for worthwhile parts that I buy.

yeah I could see that in the questions part where people were offering him 20k 25k and to end the auction on the first day it was posted. its not ignorance, I knew the other bidder was someone using streeter for a fact, and I highly doubt many Japanese guys use streeter... I thought 57k was enough and thats as bad as I wanted it, felt a lot of regret tbh and hoped I had lost. The victory was mine, making him pay a shit load for an old intercooler lol.

lol I wasn't saying Japanese guys use streeter. We (Us in Japan) have our YAJ accounts so we don't have to go through a middle man.
