First order of business was to get the damn thing painted. I just wanted it to be one color so I could drive it and not feel like an asshole. I went to 1 day paint, picked out a color that I liked, and got the car painted. I don’t know why more 240 owners don’t do this. The whole job was just over $500 and it makes your car look decent enough to drive.

AGAIN, HE IS NOT DOING IT WRONG.

I just wanted to say sorry that I misread what he said it cost him to have it painted. Local cheap Maaco paint jobs are $350 and I'm sure you could pay a little more and have it looking acceptable for around $500.

I did not say perfect nor gorgeous nor everything you could ever hope for. I said acceptable as in " its not an eyesore" like some of the shitboxes posted in this thread.
This guys car looks alright in my books, and I am sure he is going to repaint it later down the road.
