I've never even seen an 86mm HG. IS it a myth? If you did order one, what if they sent you 85.97mm by manufacturing flaw? How long do you think the .03mm overhang will last in there? And do you think it will stop there at .03 burning off? Probably a little more will burn off than that, leaving you with 86.01+mm of headgasket anyways.

Better just to use no gasket at all. Seal it with duct tape and permatex. Or the zilvia special, weld that shit. Everybody here loves to weld their shit together. "gaskets are for chumps" they said. its just cause "they don't make a zip tie big enough for that"

Serious as a heart attack man, apexi websites got them but not in stock. So when I go to order somethings for a std 86mm bore I figured hey what the hell 86mm must be correct but only stock is 87mm. Thickness I understand perfect as far as not getting the same size gasket as bore diameter just seemed fishy.

I'm thinking jb weld and fucking rtv mixture will be prime for race wars...
