The gtr booster will help with the pedal feel and effort, the rear brakes not engaging is a different issue.

When you bled the rear, did you get good flow or was it dripping? The 1" master proportions the brakes but does your car have a separate proportioning valve connected on the car somewhere else on the lines? That could cause an issue
